Made by drying the stems of sweet potatoes harvested in September and October, dried sweet potato stems are grown in Jeollabukdo. This low-calorie vegetable is rich in fibers, calcium and potassium, and, therefore, beneficial for preventing constipation, hypertension, and osteoporosis as well as for weight loss. Use it for stir fry, soup, or as a side dish.
