Parboiled thistle
Parboiled dried thistle is mainly grown in Gangwondo, and contains rich carbs, proteins, vitamin A, and calcium, as well as bioactive substances. Thanks to its rich fiber content and low calories, it is also good for weight loss. This vegetable is softer in texture compared to chwinamul and, therefore, often cooked with rice.
